This roundtable will provide an opportunity to evaluate Migration in Modern World History, 1500–2000 (Wadsworth Publishing, 2000), a comprehensive CD-ROM intended as the principal instructional material for a course on world history since 1500. Panel members will discuss usage of the CD-ROM as teaching material, as interpretation of migration, and as interpretation of world history and will address generally the use of multimedia materials in teaching and interpreting world history. The principal author will comment in response. The CD-ROM will be online and will display particular screens to which panelists or the audience wish to refer.
