Announces
The Clarence H. Haring Prize for 2016

The Clarence H. Haring Prize is awarded every five years to that Latin American who, in the opinion of the committee, has published the most outstanding book in Latin American history during the preceding five years.

1. Books with an imprint between 2011 and 2015 will be eligible for the prize in 2016. There is no language limitation on works submitted.

2. In addition to sending a copy of each prize entry to members of the selection committee, please complete the Data Collection Form at the link below. One form must be completed for each entry. Fields marked with a blue star are required.

3. Entries must be postmarked by or on MAY 16, 2016, to be eligible—late entries will NOT be considered. One copy of each entry must be sent to each of the following committee members:

will be posted by March 30.

Please Note: The deadline for submission of entries is MAY 16, 2016. Entries will not be returned. Judges will be posted March 2016. Recipients will be announced at the 2017 AHA annual meeting in Denver, CO.

IMPORTANT! EACH ENTRY MUST BE CLEARLY LABELED "Haring Award Entry."
