Congratulations to AHA member Lendol G. Calder (Augustana Coll.), who has been named as a finalist for Baylor University’s 2026 Robert Foster Cherry Award for Great Teaching. The Cherry Award was established in 1991 “to recognize excellent teachers and bring them in contact with Baylor students” and has been awarded biennially ever since. “Cherry Award finalists are teachers who have made a significant, lasting impact on students and often on colleagues and institutions,” said award committee chair Kevin Dougherty.
