Amanda B. Moniz was the associate director of the National History Center in 2014–16 and program coordinator at the AHA from 2015–16. She is currently David M. Rubenstein Curator of Philanthropy at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. Amanda is the author of From Empire to Humanity: The American Revolution and the Origins of Humanitarianism (2016).
